6 Reasons to eat Cherries…. Aching from a big workout? Just one reason to eat Cherries this 16th July (National Cherry Day)

Its National Cherry Day today. If you look around most grocers or supermarkets you will see that Cherries are right in season, as are most red fruits, but what are the benefits to eating them and why should they be in your next shopping basket?

Get flexible….

Cherries contain a naturally occurring substance called anthocyanin. These help to reduce inflammation in the body and can therefore help with joint movement and general flexibility. Cherries are actually prescribed to help with arthritis and migraines for this reason.
