i-motion members Jade Thompson and Alan Baggley share their fitness journeys:
“I’ve always been someone who has turned to food for comfort. After trying fad diets for nearly 5 years I realised they don’t work. At my
heaviest, I was 13.5 stone and wearing size 16/18 clothes. At the beginning of 2018 I decided to make some changes and joined i-motion gym in rotherham where I started personal training sessions with Tasha Wilde.
Although I was dreading it, my first session was amazing, I loved it and couldn’t wait to go back! Every week I have noticed my body shape changing, I’m stronger and more toned already.
Through Tasha’s guidance and use of both cardio and weight training, my body is feeling better everyday and I have noticed my health also improving, I no longer suffer with acid reflux, which was something that was a real problem previously.
I’ve always been so reluctant to go to the gym as I had the mind set of “I can do this on my own”, but having someone there pushing you to do better and motivate you, whilst being able to use the facilities to do a range of exercises, mean the results are so much better! The pain whilst in the gym is a totally different type of pain. It’s a pain that is addictive and leaves you wanting more. I suppose it is because you know that it is pain that is making a difference.
I’m now 12 stone fitting into clothes 12/14. Although I’m not at my ideal weight yet, I’m the happiest and healthiest I’ve been in years, I am so thankful to Tasha and i motion gym for helping me on my journey.”
“I’ve lost nearly 3 stone since I started my journey. I managed to lose a stone in diet and a small amount of exercise but it quickly
became apparent that I needed to do more exercise. My mental health was affected by my weight, my self-confidence was at an all time low and I was really unhappy. After joining i-motion Gym I started to feel better both mentally and physically.
I started off with PT sessions and slowly gained momentum, I haven’t looked back since, I have a renewed confidence and determination. I will not stop until I have achieved my personal goals.”
We love to celebrate the fitness journey successes of all of our clients. No two journeys are ever the same, the goals always different, but the end product always rewarding. Well done Jade and Alan. We wish you all the best in your continued journey.
